How we create our precious woodcarvings

For the production of our statues we select precious mountain woods which have been dried over years

At the beginning we make different drawings to define our ideas

The drawing is then modeled in clay

We carve the first model entirely by hand in wood

We hand over the first carved model to the bronze foundry

The bronze model will be copied by hand with our pantograph

The rough pre-milled statues are carved by hand

The statue will be handpainited, gilded or stained
